Armed robbery
  • Police were dispatched to an armed robbery at Cigarette Outlet, 2021 W. Washington St., at 2:18 p.m. Nov. 18. The suspects are two white males who left the area in a smaller black four-door vehicle. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
Operating while intoxicated
  • A 48-year-old West Bend man was arrested for operating while intoxicated at 11:10 p.m. Nov. 17 in the 2400 block of W. Washington Street after a citizen reported a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road on Highway 33 eastbound, entering the city of West Bend. West Bend Officers located the driver who showed signs of intoxication. The male failed the standardized field sobriety tests, blew a .143 in a PBT and was arrested.
Operating while intoxicated-vehicle fire
  • A 37-year-old West Bend male was arrested for operating while intoxicated at 8:07 p.m. Nov. 17 after police were called to a car fire in the 100 block of Rusco Drive. When officers arrived the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames and the driver was standing nearby. The subject told officers that he had been “off roading” when he drove over a rock and the vehicle started on fire. The man showed signs of intoxication, admitted to drinking alcohol before he drove to the lot, failed the Standard Field Sobriety Tests, and was arrested. The man was not injured in the collision.
